********** transaction took place - Vodacom not getting back to me
I have tried since December 2019 when it came to our attention that someone signed up for a contract with Vodacom (on black Friday) with my husbands ID , to get some answers out of Vodacom. We immediately cancelled the debit order and reported this to Vodacom .. The SAPS unfortunately refused to open a case as they clearly stated that a ""crime"" did not take place. After 6 or 7 phone calls to Vodacom I have finally managed to get someone to actually cancel the access to the data that this person was enjoying **********ly. I have taken it upon myself to get copies of the ********** ID as well as the proof that RAM couriers delivered the SIM card to the person In Alexandra. I also obtained a Vodacom invoice. An address in Alexandra was provided to open the transaction , somehow Vodacom accessed my husbands Nedbank account which is ONLY used for the House bonds. No debit order go through there except the ones to pay the two bonds. Upon delivery of the sim card by Ram Couriers a Vorna Valley proof of address was provided NOT the one in Alexandra . This MWEB account was in fact cancelled in 2016 and was in the name of someone called called Bradley . My question to Vodacom as well as RAM Couriers is how did they actually allow this to happen ??? I am still waiting for answers but is seems that Vodacom does not take this in a serious light at all . I have again this morning requested for feedback as I need to know how they accessed my husband's bank account number and what was done about it …
