********** promotion

I had a pleasant lady contacting me regarding a special offer for their loyal customers. As I have been with Vodacom for 21 years, I thought this was about time that Vodacom decided to recognize their loyal customers. The deal was for an upgrade from 2GB data to 10GB data, 150 talk minutes to unlimited and 50 SMS to unlimited SMS all for the current airtime package I am currently paying. A similar package was offered for my other mobile number. Too my shock when I received my invoice, my billing had gone up by 50%. On top of that, suddenly I was being billed for contract insurance which I never authorized. I requested a reversal of the upgrade as this was not what was agreed on. The first attempt to resolve this seemed to be successful and was managed by Lesley Deane and I received notification of the reversal but yet still Vodacom were billing me 20% than my previous contract. I phoned their call centre again and after 21 minutes was promptly transferred to review their service without any resolution. I am now holding for the 3rd time, trying to find out who **********ly authorized insurance on my contracts without my permission. This call was terminated after 28 minutes without resolution. The agents refuse to put me through to a manager and keep passing me from pillar to post. Not only have I not enjoyed the benefits of the promised package which was a lie, I cannot get it through to the number of call centre agents that take my call that all I want is for my contract to be reverted back to what is was!

So I am promised that a consultant would contact me. If an SMS that clearly shows that they have not bothered to make any effort to investigate that they have contact me, then I suppose job done. Has my situation been resolved? NO! This is your response to me, how am I supposed to go to the store when you telesales called me? What kind of investigation did you bother to do?
Good day
Regarding the upgrade and billing due to the upgrade done, you need to refer back to the store were the upgrades were processed and address the matter with the store manager,if no joy,the store needs to escalate the matter to a fsc-field consultant of that region to assist.
