********** deductions on my vodacom account

My Vodacom Bill has been abnormally high since Nov 2018. I have queried Vodacom as to why my bill has increased by on average R250 per month and their reply was that I subscribed to Vlife at a daily charge of R10 in October 2017. I have never subscribed to Vlife and furthermore I have never given permission for these deductions to be charged against my account. As far as I am concerned these are ********** charges against my account which have totalled in excess of R1200 to date. When I asked for proof of my subscription, vodacom couldn't provide it because their reasoning is that the subscription would have been done via the internet and not through them. My argument was if that was the case, how could they as Vodacom be billing me. I insisted that the subscription be cancelled immediately and that I be refunded in full. They have escalated my query to their investigations department and they should come back to me within 14 days - what are the changes!. That's not good enough. I am being charged for unsolicited "content services" despite Vodacom's claim that it adheres to the industry norm that new content services must be solicited by the subscriber. Vodacom seems to be making a fortune from content providers, or WASPS (Wireless Application Service Providers) which ***gybank on the networks. I am disappointed in Vodacom and it remains their responsibility to fix this and to refund me in full by : 1) Stopping the ********** deductions from my account 2) Refunding me for every last cent deducted for vlife 3) Blocking all WASPS from deducting money from my account in future I have never given permission for these charges to be deducted from my account!

Please be advised that I was contacted by Theo (vodacom - Hello Peter division) after my Hello Peter Review and he assured me that I would receive a credit on my account on 2 March and an updated statement reflecting the credit. I am beyond frustrated! I have not received any such statement and my bank was debited with a charge of over R2000 on 1 March - clearly the refund has not been effected. And to date I am still none the wiser as to when I signed up for the supposed "vlife subscription". No feedback from the "investigations department" to date. Pathetic and a bunch of *****s! Be warned all Vodacom subscribers :(
