********** debit orders from Vodacom

From 4th October i logged a ********** claim with Vodacom on debit orders of R619 being deducted from my account since April 2016. I do not have a contract with Vodacom anymore for years now, since i ported my number to MTN..... yet a contract account was opened under my name and deductions are being made from my bank account. This account was also opened in Pretoria and i am based in Cape Towna, as advised by a vodacom agent.

I was requested to send through my statements and affidavit to the vodacom customer care e-mail. Following submitting the required documents for investigation, Vodacom advised they would feedback to me by 24 October 2016.

24th October 2016, i had received no feedback from Vodacom. I then followed up asking for feedback on the investigation and when i can expect my money back.

My last follow up communication on 1st November with a Vodacom consultant, the customercare agent advised they have escalated the issue to "Back office Management" and I would receive feedback no later that 48 hours.

Needless to say, i still have not heard from Vodacom since!!!! I am so frustrated, dissappointed and angry that a multi million rand company and brand can get away with ********** deduction like these and still not handle investigations and queries in an ethic and responsible manner.

Vodacom's Vision:

Our Vision
Best network, best value, best service

Where are we going?

Were focussing on making our vision real, specifically through our brand promise of best network, best value, best service and everything that goes into keeping our promise.

This goes against your core value of " best service and everythign that goes into keeping our promise"

You have broken your promise a few times here Vodacom. It is really unfair that consumers can be abused and frustrated like this when I have been a victim of *****, from controls broken in your processes and sytems.

Vodacom also pride themselves on:

Our Way
Speed, simplicity and trust
How we need to do it?

The Vodacom Way is the antidote to bureaucracy, if something fails this test we find another solution

The Vodacome way quoted above, again, how this query has been handled clearly goes againsts your core values of Speed, simplicity and Trust. "The Vodacom Way is the antidote to bureaucracy, if something fails this test we find another solution"

I am using this process as i am now desparate for asisstance to escalate this and get my money back. It is unfair and so frustating, that i am still being reffered to different call centre agents everytime. Big corporations like Vodacom should not be allowed to get away with treating consumers in this matter.

@Vodacom - Please Pay Back My Money!!!!!!

Reference Number: 1- ********** 0283

Thanks,

Zimkhitha Portia Khambi
