********** contract upgrade

What are the chances that Vodacom is not equipped to deal with ********** contract upgrades? 99.99%. I have a data contract which is about to expire in September 2017. Without my knowledge, it was upgraded to include an iPhone. Early July 2017: As soon as I received an sms notification that there was enquiry on my profile, I called customer service and notified them that I never requested an upgrade. I was informed that an investigation will be conducted and will receive feedback in 48 hours. 18 July: I received courier delivery e-mail and called Vodacom again. I called in to ask what the delivery was about. Was told the same story about the iPhone - and I was promised that any debit orders would be halted and feedback within 48 hours. A couple of days later my account was debited. I called the pathetic customer service centre and enquired about the deduction. Was told about the iPhone upgrade again to which I explained that I never ordered any (I already have one with MTN). I was asked to make an affidavit and mail it to ********** together with my certified ID. I did so the following day. Still no feedback. A week (and a half) later I called in again to find out about the status of the “investigation”. I was told they are still waiting for the affidavit and ID. Gosh. I mailed it again. 13 August: I called in again to ask about the status of the “investigation” and why my SIM card was blocked. Guess what? They are still waiting for the documents. 16 August 2017: My account was debited again. With so many similar complaints on Hellopeter you'd think a mechanism to deal with this swiftly would be in place. Please sort out this mess and let me move on to other service providers in peace.
