********** Content Services - Phonemundo

I advise all Vodacom customers to check their cell phone bills for "content services".

Vodacom is allowing known ********** organisations like Phonemundo / Mira Networks to ***** money from you via your monthly cell phone bill.

It is then impossible to get Vodacom to refund you the **********ly debited money.

Dear Client

Wireless Application Service Providers, commonly referred to as WASPs, are partner companies that use the Vodacom Network to provide mobile content and services to Vodacom's subscribers. The WASPs are responsible for developing and marketing their own services to the subscribers. They make use of Vodacom's cellular network infrastructure and billing mechanisms. Therefore, Vodacom’s role is to deliver the content and bill the customer on behalf of the WASP.

Your number was removed from the database of the WASP,Mira Networks. We intercede on the customer’s behalf as far as we can as a courtesy. Once the customer disputes the WASP’s (Wireless Application Service Providers) response or is not credited, this falls outside of our scope. The customer is then required to report the matter to Wireless Application Service Providers Association (WASPA)

The Wireless Application Service Provider Association (WASPA) has been constituted to regulate all WASPs.

Should you have any further queries, please contact WASPA via email at ********** or call on ********** 710(charged call).

Kind regards

Vodacom Consumer Website Team

Best regards,

So just to paraphrase what you are saying....Vodacom will take money from their "valued' clients without ANY confirmation from the client. Vodacom then passed on this **********ly obtained money to the WASP and washes their hands clean?

Vodacom will gladly take money from their "valued' clients without ANY confirmation from the client. Vodacom will then passed this **********ly obtained money on to the WASP and wash their hands clean?

If you ***** money, you are a *****! Just because you ***** money and give it to someone else doesn't detract from the fact that you STOLE the money in the first place.

VODACOM debit my account and NOT the WASP. Therefore VODACOM is responsible for crediting the funds.
