Vodacom call service: I had a contract with Vodacom which ended on February 2020 and before it ended I had an outstanding balance of R1200. I made a request of termination and was told the termination would go through immediately after payment. After paying the outstanding amount I was told the contract was terminated. I currently have a new contract with Vodacom but I was however told my account is in arrears even before the first billing. When I inquired I was told I owe an amount for late termination of the previous contract...termination that was done before the dates they mention. When I call...agents tell us different amounts they say I owe and all this time they have told me my previous contract was canceled only to find out it was never canceled to begin with. The contract was only canceled recently and some agents from Vodacom acknowledge it was an error from the company's side. I have recently been told that Vodacom will account for the amount they say I owe for the previous account. I am however yet to receive information on how much they are crediting. What bothers me is why they are crediting me for some money whose whereabouts I have no idea of and yet they have proof of payment for the amount I am aware of having owed. My wife and Sister have been without network access for three weeks now since Vodacom cut off access...yet I am expected to pay for services I did not receive. I am disappointed in Vodacom and I plan to never utilize their services in future ever. It has been an exhausting and frustrating odeal. ********** service at its best.
