********** activity / false advertising

Last year around about July 2019. I received a call from Vodacom, consultant. They explained that if I am interested in a new SIM card with a certain amount of data (details of which I can not remember now) I can qualify for a phone after 3 months. After 3 months I went to vodacom shop to apply for the phone they have managed of which the monthly payments of 199 was successful debited. The deal was never true. I could apply for a phone and if I apply for the new phone it will be a seperate simcard and number. It was false advertising and ********** transactions and black listing. I have taken the deal after they previously Black listed me for debt of which was long sorted out. Once again they have black listed me, damaging my credit report. I am not able to apply for any credit. I will handle this case legally and correctly. I require a new phone as promised and advertised over the phone as per the consultatant's advertising. Now I received a final letter of demand of outstanding monies after I have cancelled the deal and after I visited Vodacom to apply for the phone after 3 months. My last invoice states R0.00 of which I kept on file for proof. Vodacom is so easy to threat regarding due funds but not quick to train their consultants to finalise a sale or deal legally. this matter can be handed over to attorneys for consideration. I want to apply for the phone of which will be at your own cost, if my name is not cleared once again from Vodacom from my credit report, I will take this matter to the news papers and report this situation to the relevant ombudsman. Your response is urgently required to avoid further legal actions. Vodacom sent the final letter of demand to my place of employment without my consent and not allowed as I've explained. Please do the proper research regarding the correct legal steps before just sending out a final letter of demand. Vodacom has not followed the legal process correctly. Kind regards
