********** ACCOUNT HANDED OVER FOR LEGAL COLLECTION

I got a phone from Vodacom on contract in 08/2014 and it ran until around 01/2017. A couple of months after I closed the account, I received a courtesy phone call from a Vodacom consultant who asked me if I was happy with the new device on the new contract I had just taken. I explained to the consultant that I was not aware of any contract and that it should please be closed. I was not asked for any documentation to close off the contract, however I continued to call Vodacom as I was monitoring the account on my Credit Record. I then called Vodacom in August 2017 and they assured me that the contract would be cancelled. I continued to monitor the account on my credit record and noted that the account was recorded as closed in September 2017. To my surprise, I got a call from Symok claiming that my Vodacom account was handed over for legal collection. What exactly will it take for the contract to be cancelled????
