*****/Theft by Vodacom SA: Vodacom Live! Subscriptions

Vodacom have seen fit to sign me up for these stupid useless Vodacom Live! services:

- Androgames - AirG

Along with them seeming to sign me up for the following WASP service with no double opt-in notification:

- Mobiteacher

I have never subscribed to these services. I have never received any notification regarding subscription to these services.

This bull**** theft has been happening on my account since I switched to a Top-Up plan.

As far I am concerned, this is *****. Since this is through a Vodacom product it is therefore, in my opinion, Vodacom that is responsible for this junk.

I have lost money on this, but judging by other reviews around here for the same thing I guess it is just going to be accepted as customer fault even if the customer had no part in performing the subscription.

Someone needs to explain to me, and possibly the world, how Vodacom can allow arbitrary sign up to the billing of a client without having to provide proof that the customer allowed this?

I want to see proof that I instructed Vodacom to do this billing?

The "services" that were subscribed to aren't even in South Africa? UAE and Canada, FFS?!?!?

I would strongly advise anyone looking at Vodacom as a mobile service provider to really look elsewhere. The most frustrating thing here is that I have to wait an entire year for this contract to run out before I can leave this network (one that I have been with since '97 and have never had money taken from me until being put on this Top-Up ****).

Vodacom: contact me and provide me all the details regarding how these subscriptions happened? I want all 3rd party services blocked from accessing my account or billing me ever again. If you can't do that, then you are the *****s in this situation. I want my number removed from the Vodacom Live! ******* and blocked from any of the "service providers" on there from having access to it.
