**********! No Care for customers

On 16 November, the West Gate Mall Vodacom Shop activated a contract on my Vodacom profile, with me being at least 200 km from the shop. I queried this and it turned out the sales person did not verify that the ID number of the actual person who was applying for the contract, matches with the one on my profile.

I called the store who advised that they will have the contract removed from my name and added to the correct customer's name. This was done, but now the activation charges of the new contract was still reflecting on my payable balance, on 19 Nov.

I spoke with a lady from customer care who advised that the money will not be paid by myself seeing that she will request for it to be removed from my account.

On 20 November, I woke up to an email saying R276,25 has been debited from my bank account. I paid the activation fees for another person.

Again, I called customer care who is merely advising that a ***** investigation has been logged on their side and that I will be credited this amount.

They do not care that the debit order is going to return unpaid and that I am going to indirectly incur more bank fees.

I am also not going to reverse the debit order seeing that that will reflect badly on my name.

Hurry up and wait. Vodacom only cares for making sales, whatever else happens, they don't care about.

Now all of the sudden Vodacom knows the procedure seeing that they have to pay me back, but the sales person clearly missed the procedure note when this ********** contract was entered into on my name.

This sickens me!
