On the 3rd August2015 I received a phone call from Vodacom thanking me for being such a good customer. I was offered a new 3G LTE 2MB wifi router on a special offer. I accepted the offer. Shortly afterward I received the following SMS : A vetting application for a new line has been registered against your Account : ... Please phone contact Dealer REWIND on *** for any queries. Vodacom.<br> <br> I have contacted both numbers that I received the call from aswell as the sms , but both numbers are not valid . <br> *** and ***. <br> The sms was received from *** which is indeed the number vodacom veriefis details on and also wishes me a happy birthday on. <br> <br> I need this canceled with immediate effect or a lookout for this must be implemented. I am seriously going public with this and will also visit the consumer commission. <br> <br> What is the most alarming is that they had all my vodacom details, usage info , ID numbers etc .. How is this at all possible <br>
