*****acom ****************

So after following the "right channels" for months with no results.

I have been with vodacom for many years now and i constantly have issues with my account and my phone getting disconected. I have been a loyal paying client paying cash in store and always paying more than i needed to.

in November of 2016 someone placed a debit order on my vodacom account without my concent and i was fined for returned debit order that i never authorised even though i already made a payment in november. i did receive a notification via sms stating my account will be debited. so i phoned the accounts department twice on ********** who assued me no debit order was present on my account. and as luck may have it there a debitorder poped up out of the blue.

being a topup/flexi contract i pay a fixed amount everymonth of 500 odd rands. in november i started with a positive balance of R16 and ended oweing vodqcom 1600 odd rands in the matter of 30 days due to double debit and the chaos that ensued on my account. none of which i gave any authorisation. luckily thanks to the helpful staff at Vodacom 4U woodlands boulevard we managed to get the debitorder penatly reversed. however there was still a double debit present on my account and i have statments to prove it.

i have been fighting since december in vain to get my cellphone account fixed. the accounts department refuses to return the debit order when on the statment it clearly shows in black and white a double debit. even the cellphone store where i upgraded confirmed that a double debit indeed took place and accounts should refund it which they refuse to do.

as a relsult of this my cellphone was cut off due to the error on my account and i have receved numerous automated phonecalls instructing me to pay for an amount that shouldne be there to begin with. i will not pay a *****ulant amount. i cant pay twice for the same thing. this is daylight robery.

having worked at a vodacom sales store i am surprised that SARS has not locked down Vodacom assets for teh vast amount of people double debited who just pay without asking questions. i work in retail and ern breadcrumbs and large companies prey on us small guys because we cant afford the legal fees.

due to my phone being cut off to vodacoms problem. I was unable to do my private automotive repair work after hours and have income losses of over 7000 due to this problem. yet Vodacom Stil refuses to fix their own problem. any human can think if you start your moth with a positive R16 balanve how coul your possible end with a negtive more than twice your montly payment.

Not only has vodacom accounts been unable to fix their issue but also Vodacare menyln have also done me in with about R1800.

After over a year they now refuse to respond to my emails.

While i was working at Vodacom a damaged Samsung Tab A was sent to vodacare menlyn for repairs. a quote was sent back to me of +-1800, which i paid out of my own pocket. After the tablet arrived and an EFT payment was made to the repairs store the unit was replaced under warrenty and a zero value invoice was genrated. The repairs store stated on record they shall refund the amount paid but never did so since febuary 2016, i still have te emails on record to support all teh above. the 1800 was clearly pocketed by a vodacare staff member.

After a year of constant struggles with this network i am so sick of this network it is unbearable. there is so much fruad going around the company wreeks of it to its core. they are always so quick to take your money but when they make a mistake they expect a simple "sorry" to fix the problem.

There is no single way Vodacom will prevent me from heading to another network once my contract expires. I didnt make the mistake and im loseing thousands of rands which i cant afford to lose.

I do wish to praise the people on the ground and sales for at least atempting to help an enraged client and the profesionalism of the call center agents.

the problem with vodacom is not the staff. They have some of the best staff on ground level which they do not value and they have some staff who really want to help you but the cahnnels involved prohibits them to do so. yet somewhere above these people in store is a massive black hole where everything good and helpful gets lost in translation.

I honestly believe Vodacom is the worst network in SA. Their quality might be the best but their operating system is horrific. I sadly am forced to take legal action to recover my losses for somthing which was not my fault in either scenarios. this is but once scenario of thousands.

They should change their name to *****acom, Taking advantage one debit order at a time.

You have to be silly to want a contract with vodacom since i have had nothing but trouble since day one.

I hope the Big Heads of Vodacom sees this and do something before the collapse of their network.
