***** - VODACOM

On 5 June 2018 an upgrade was done on my Cellphone contract. I received a SMS "Dear James Durant your quotation has been processed". Later another SMS was received "Dear James Durant your upgrade order has been processed. The upgrade was done at Vodacom Repairs Centre in Fourways Mall. Shop M7C Fourways Mall. I did not authorize the upgrade and no security checks were done. Salesman Klaas did the upgrade. When I phoned to speak to Klaas, he was not available. I then spoke tp the Manager Marcus that confirmed the upgrade was done at that branch. I requested for a copy of the contract and the documents that was used to do the upgrade. Marcus sent me the documents. The signature on the contract is not my signature and is different throughout the contract. The I.D copy that was used is a false ID. My Name and Surname and ID number but not my photo. I then requested for the store camera footage. The picture of the person that did the upgrade is not even close to the photo on the ID. STILL THE UPGRADE WAS DONE. The phone issued was a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Titanium with a 1GB Data. I was informed to send all documents to ********** That was done on 7 June 2018. I AM STILL WAITING.. Today 26 June 2018 I saw my "Bill so far" on the Vodacom app. My bill is at R12681.86. I did contact the accounts at Vodacom and again no explanation for the HIGH BILL... I phoned the store where the upgrade was done again to speak to Klaas. Apparently he is on leave. I then spoke to Markus and all he could say is that Vodacom has to sort it out. I am still waiting for the owner of the store to contact me. This is a really serious case and pathetic service. I am a loyal Vodacom customer since 1998 and this is the type of service you get. I have no other choice but to take the matter further and get legal assistance with this matter. This is ***** and I am not going to suffer and pay for the negligence of the salesman and the store.
