***** ignored by ***** department

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS RESOLVED FOR A YEAR. APPARENTLY EMAILING YOU IS A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY.

I ported to Cell C in May 2016 from Vodacom - the ported number is ********** . I was informed that the port was successful by SMS and that my contract with Vodacom was successfully cancelled. When I received a Statement in May 2016 (sta-I ********** -5-2016-05-03, Item number B ********** 37, Reference ********** 96) for the amount of R 1,090.99, I called Vodacom to inquire. Vodacom informed me that this line was not in my name, but in the name of Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. - Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. is not my company - and that this was likely ********** activity and would be investigated as such. The number in question is ********** . I have never received feedback from Vodacom on this inquiry.

I was not informed by Vodacom that my 076 number had been ported to this 082 number, that the the number port to Cell C was unsuccessful or that my cancelled contract had been migrated to prepaid or why. I have never had a SIM associated with the 082 number, nor have I ever been active on the 082 number.

After having paid Vodacom R 4,004.11 subscription on this line and no resolution from Vodacom regarding this, I contacted Vodacom again on 11 November 2016 and have been trying to resolve this issue for a month now. I have been sent from pillar to post, from one department to another. (sta-I ********** -5-2016-06-03; sta-I ********** -5-2016-07-03 and sta-I ********** -5-2016-08-03)

11 November2016:

Vodacom Accounts confirmed that the number ********** is currently registered in the name of Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. I state again, Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. is not my company.
Vodacom Accounts stated that the number ********** is still active and that statements of "hundreds of thousands of rands are still being paid each month" by Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. This is a verbatim quote by your consultant.

I was told that I have no active accounts with Vodacom.

08 December 2016:
Again, Vodacom Business confirmed that the number ********** is currently registered in the name of Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. Vodacom Business put me through to Vodacom ***** department.
I spoke to Siso. Siso was a very rude customer care consultant. He told me the following:Firstly he stated that the account was currently registered in the name of Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd.

He stated that the billing was a mistake and that I never should have been billed for this account.

He then changed his story and stated that the number ********** was previously registered in the name of Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. and that this account has been inactive since 1999.
He informed me that inactive accounts are deleted after 1 year ( 2016 - 1999 = 17 years).
He informed me that the number was assigned to my name in May 2016.
He then stated that it was Vodacom standard operating procedure to assign a prepaid number to cancelled contracts that are 15 - 20 months old.
I asked Siso if it was Vodacom standard operating procedure to move accounts from a business name to personal entities and back to the initial business name. He confirmed that it was not. When I asked him to please confirm again who's name the 082 number was currently registered in, he refused.
I asked him why, if that was not standard operating procedure, was this account currently registered in the name ofTough Enough (PTY) Ltd. (as he stated previously and as stated by other consultants) after it had allegedly been moved to my name in May 2016. He refused to help me further and insisted I speak to Vodacom Accounts.
I spoke to Vodacom Accounts and they were kind enough to confirm that the 082 number was indeed registered in the name of Tough Enough (PTY) Ltd. and had never been registered in my personal name and that the account was deleted on 31 October 2016.
Siso **** to me. Please feel free to review to call audio. This is deplorable conduct for staff in your ***** department.

Please action the following with immediate effect (I have been trying to resolve this for almost a year.):
As per sta-I ********** -5-2016-11-03, there is a refund of R 1,310.24 due to me. This has not yet been paid. Please reimburse me immediately.
As this 082 number was never registered in my name, I never registered a SIM card for this number and was never active on this line at any point, as well as the fact that Siso **** to me regarding the details pertaining to this account, I consider any subscription collected by Vodacom ********** and *******. Please reimburse me the full amount of R 4,004.11 immediately.
