***** & False Information to Upgrade without Permission

About a month ago I called the Vodacom Customer Care Centre to complain about two issues namely: 1. My banking details had not been changed after I had emailed Vodacom numerous times informing them of the change; 2. A huge amount had been debited off my account (R456-49). I spoke to THOMBOKAZI “CANDICE” ZOZO. She said that she will update the banking details as we spoke on the phone. When it came to the issue of the big amount being debited off my account, she told me that my package had been upgraded. I was absolutely furious!! I then remembered about an incident that had happened during last month and told her about someone that had called me from Vodacom, and this person (a woman) told me that my package name was becoming redundant or renamed. (I NEVER do any upgrades on the phones, for the exact reason of being **** to or agreeing to something that I cannot see on black and white in front of me.) I even told this woman this. She said that I would NOT be paying anything extra, in fact I would be PAYING R30 LESS, and getting more. I told this person over and over that I could not and would not pay even an extra cent more and she assured me that this would not be the case. I told your call centre agent “CANDICE” this whole story and as I am aware of how call centres work, I am sure that you can easily pull the recorded call between that woman and I and you will hear that I did not agree to any upgrade or paying more at all! She made it sound like my package name was changing and that I would be paying less. Now I am paying much more which I can’t afford and I am furious beyond belief!! Vodacom debited the last of my money from my bank account!!

“CANDICE” Said she would pass my issue onto to Solutions department and that after the call I would receive a reference number. To date I have NOT received follow up call from anyone and NO REFERENCE number either. I also said to her that I expect to be credited and put back onto my original package that I was on. I have since then sent NUMEROUS emails to the CEO office and received ONE reply from a SUSAN MONAISE but she never rep**** to me again or resolved my query completely. Out of desperation I have been to the Vodacom shop and a helpful lady "Monique" informed me that there is nothing that I can do about this and that it was an official upgrade that was done over the phone. I was actually due for a new phone, now I have NO NEW PHONE - just an increased amount to pay for something I don't want!!! I am absolutely furious and NOBODY from VODACOM can assist or answers me!! I am going to close my account as this is ***** - I didn't sign for anything and the recorded call will hear that I said no to any increase in cost. I will be stopping my debit order if this is the only way to stop this amount from going off my bank account and to get someone's attention.

I also received a call from a Ashlyn Govender asking me how I like Vodacom’s service. I told him about what had happened as well and he too has not come back to me.

I have no faith in Vodacom's customer care department. I moved from Autopage to Vodacom, but Vodacom is the worst!
