*****!! Debiting money from my account despite the fact I have no business at all with Vodacom

During October 2016 I app**** online for a vodacom cell phone contract. I was approved for the contract and had to provide confirmation that I will proceed with the contract. I decided against it as it did not include a sim swap and I can tell you that was the greatest decision I could have made!

Shortly afterwards I received an email from ********** to say that I have confirmed my order and that my new iphone will be delivered shortly.

I immediately rep**** to the email saying that I have not confirmed this order and I will not proceed with this contract. Not suprisingly I received no response whatsoever. Thereafter,I received a telephone call from a courier service enquiring when they could deliver my new iphone. I advised them I will not acceot delivery of a new Iphone as I had not ordered it. I then proceeded to call the call centre, only to by bumped from the sales to the cancellation department and back again. I was told they could not assist me as their system is offline.

I went into the Vodacom shop in Norwood Mall. I was told the sales person has a long queue and would not be able to attend to me any time soon. I left my contact details for her to contact me. No one bother to contact me. I susbesquently sent numerous emails and unsurprisingly did not recieve a response. Depsite all of this Vodacom have decided to start sending me bills and debiting my account for a phone and cell phone contract I did not have!!

Don't bother calling their head office either, the receptionist does not bother to listen to the nature of your enquiry and proceeds to transfer your call straight back to the inept call centre!

I suggest Vodacom sort out this ridiclous *****elent act by the end of the week otherwise I will have no further option but to proceed with formal action.
