***** committed by Vodacom and/or its employees. *** Also posted on Vodacom Facebook Page... 1. Last year in May I got divorced from my wife who is the Vodacom account-holder in our case. 2. In January Vodacom had a special of R199 on their Vodacom 10G + 10G. 3. I already use that service, and have been for years, but at R249, and went to Vodashop4U in Woodlands Boulevard to ask that they lower my payment to R199 as well. 4. I made it EXTREMELY clear that I did NOT want a contract: mine has expired years ago and I simply wanted to go on as I have – on a month to month basis. 5. The young man who helped me was of Asian descent, and after clearing it with his manager called Andre, assured me that there was no problem. They would just lower the monthly price. 6. 7 months later – surprise, surprise!! I let my wife know she could cancel my phone and data contracts as I wanted my stuff on my own name. She went to Vodacom and was told the Data contract was renewed in January and would only expire in 2021. I drove to Pretoria (from Springs), to try solving the problem and was handed a copy of the so-called “contract”. On it was a crude attempt to falsify my wife’s signature: not even a full signature, but just her initials. It could have been done by a three year old child, it looks that pathetic. 7. A guy named Wally/Christo at Vodashop4U tried helping me but received only negativity from Vodacom head Office. Eventually he was told I had to go to a police station to make an affidavit. WHAT A JOKE!! 8. It will not happen, Vodacom! I intend to go to a police station, yes. But to lay a charge of ***** against your company. I’m sick of the Big Guys like yourself treating customers like s***. Your company is guilty of ***** and I want you to sort this thing out immediately, or I will lay a charge, believe me. 9. I want this so-called contract cancelled. 10. I also want to know what the extra R12 a month I’m being charged is for? CH Coetser. 20 August ***0800
