Good Day

On 23 November an ******* sim swap was done on my Vodacom cellphone number, without my knowledge. On 24 November I could not phone out or receive phone calls, we phoned customer care who could not help us and just said there might be something wrong with the card, we need to do a sim swap. Just before leaving home to get a sim swap done, I first checked my email and noticed that my FNB account has been logged in. Upon opening my account I saw that all my money has been transferred. We immediately went to the bank and opened a ***** case, and also phoned Vodacom customer care sim swap department and they confirmed that a sim swap was done over the phone on my number, and we then put a block on my number. The 24th of November we drove to Vodacom Midrand to do a sim swap and report the ********** activities in store. They assisted and said that they will open the ***** case, we had to email them the police case number and all relevant details, which we did. On 5 December we did a follow up, and found out that no one had opened a case at Vodacom as promised. We then again opened a case and asked for a reference number. On 13 December we drove out to Vodacom Midrand again to track the progress of the case, and found that it was closed. We re-opened it again, as no feedback was given to us, or the investigating officer on my case. We again emailed them the documents they requested previously. On 01 February 2017 my assistant phoned Vodacom again who again confirmed that no case had been opened as yet as no documents had been received and they gave us a different email address to send the documents to, and we did. Today 01/03/2017 the investigating officer phoned us and said she still have not received anything from Vodacom.

This has now gone on too long, a lot of money of mine was ****** from me, and Vodacom does not seem to care. Please could you help us resolve this issue.

Regards

Elmarie de Wet
**********
********** 788

********** 840
