***** BY ANY OTHER NAME??

On the 18th April I visited the Vodacom shop and purchased a Mobile WI-Fi R216 router with a 10Gb contract. Amongst other things, the fact that unused data was carried forward for 30 days attracted me.

On setting up the same day I noticed that 2.65Gb of volume registered as being used. This made no sense as the pro-rata amount available for the remainder of the month should have been 4Gb. How could that be, I hadn't used any of it?

Back to the shop where the consultant assured me that this would be rectified within 24 hours. A month later I have been back to the shop many times, tried to see the manager, (who is always busy in the back) been promised return phone calls, emails, etc, with no resolution in sight.

At month end, usage showed as 3.81GB, which meant that 2.84Gb was owing to me from the original 4Gb. Nothing was carried forward.

This single incident, multip**** by a large number of clients, would pour millions into Vodacom's coffers!

COULD THIS BE A CLEVERLY ORCHESTRATED *****? HOW DO I RESOLVE IT?
