***** @ Vodacom direct! consultant does upgrade without my consent!

I'm a long time (10years+) customer with vodacom and it's that time again where I'm due for an upgrade. I go to a vodacom store to do my upgrade and I'm told an upgrade has already been processed on your line.

This all happened when I enquired about a Samsung Galaxy S8 plus around 21st June.

I spoke to phindiwe ntuli and just asked about the mobile. I informed that I would only be interested in doing an upgrade at the end of the month and did inform that I should be called at month end as I'm still deciding which phone to take the upgrade on.

Firstly conformation department were told explicitly to put the upgrade on hold until month end and when they call me I will tell them yes or no and what phone to do upgrade on.

They didn't call me, actually no one called, they processed the upgrade without my consent and without my confirmation. I'm suppose to accept the upgrade and to top it off I DONT KNOW WHAT PHONE, COLOUR OR PACKAGE I'm upgrading on and it's not even the phone I enquired about in the first place!!

This is ***** as far as im concerned. I am now unable to take the special that the store is offering of Huawei P10 with free P10 lite. This special is ending now on 6th July which means that

I WILL MISS THE SPECIAL I WANT!!

ALL BECAUSE THERE ARE ********** *********** PEOPLE WORKING AT VODACOM!

I am now in the process of taking this up with legal department.

You all must be aware of the dangers of being an account holder at vodacom. You are not safe!

If an upgrade can be done without my consent what else can be done that I'm unaware of.

If anything similar has happened to you, please share the experience with me.

I NEED THIS FIXED UP AND REFUSE TO LOSE THE SPECIAL I WANT BECAUSE OF *****!
