***** at a Vodacom Branch

On 26 March 2018, someone at the Vodacom Brits branch apparently upgraded an old data contract (that I had previously requested to be cancelled) without my knowledge. I called Vodacom and informed them, and nothing was done. In May I received an invoice saying that there is an outstanding amount for equipment to the value of over R14000!!! I contact Vodacom again, and told them to cancel this contract and to send me confirmation of the cancellation - AGAIN NO CONFIRMATION, and the amount went through my bank account! I ordered my bank to stop the payment, and have today called Vodacom again, AND I have sent an email to investigate this *****! I asked the customer service agent if I need to go to the police to get this resolved, and she asked me not to do anything and allow Vodacom to investigate. Today, for the first time in 3 months, did I receive an sms saying that the matter was going to be escalated to a solutions expert. At what point is Vodacom going to do something? If nothing happens in the 7 seven day waiting period that I was given, I will personally lay ******** charges of ***** against the branch in question, and against Vodacom as well if needs be. How can you allow this sort of thing to happen? How can you not notify your clients by at least sms if not an email of things happening on their account? To make matters worse, I haven't lived in the area of this branch in over 8 years! On the days that these so called orders were placed, in my name no less, I was in Secunda, Mpumalanga. Over 200 km away!
