There is an unauthorized sim swap pending on my number, which I reported on Saturday and was assured that it has been canceled. After receiving several messages yesterday and today that the issue has NOT been resolved and the sim swap is still pending, I must please contact Vodacom, I am now told that since I’m not the account holder I am not allowed to know anything about it. My husband who is the account holder asked me to phone because he is unavailable. If you check your records you will hear the guy on Saturday first wanting to do a swap for me over the phone (even though there is supposed to be a block on the account so that it cannot happen over the phone which he also confirmed) and then assuring me that the transaction has been stopped. I can’t stop it or ask anything about it but SOMEONE AUTHORIZED IT without my husband’s consent in the first place? Do you understand that this is a **** to get his banking information? Which he is unavailable to stop (and it was supposed to be taken care of already) and I am not allowed to stop...
