*****

I took a contract with Vodacom November 2016 for S7. In September last year I started having debits I ddnt know from Vodacom and I called my bank and reversed them and only when I call Vodacom to enquire they told be there have been 2 extra lines added to my contract. So realising that was ***** I was told to put in a dispute and send the relevant documents , which I did on the 8th of October..emailed everything to ********** as adviced. The only response I ever got was the computer generated one acknowledging that the documents have been received. Since then I have been calling Vodacom on all numbers you can imagine and no one has been able to help me. At the call centre the say it's out of their hands they can't help, once in December I called and the guy said he will call me daily to update me on the case and he did that for 2 days and he stopped (nothing was resolved even thou he said they found that the problem was an error on their side and he went to say he's positive it will be cleared come january). January came and now the blocked my number (which by the way I have been paying it every month and I dnt owe anything) I called them and a lady told me she will get her supervisors to open the line and she will get back to me (to this very day in still waiting). I even went to the extent of going to the shop at gateway hoping for some assistance but they told me they can't do anything about it than calling the same numbers I have been calling and not getting help, they got hold of someone whom they ddnt tell me the name and said she will escalate the matter and I'll be contacted (that was a week ago and still nothing, so that was useless too). It went to an extent where I was given the ***** number to call directly and I have been calling the number countless times and it's either it will ring off the hook or say "line busy". I have tried emailing hoping someone will respond but it's almost 4month and no one has ever responded. Recently when I call to ask them to open my line since it's fully paid they tell me its in forensic ..the same story I have been hearing for the past 3.5 month with nothing happening besides my bill just pulling up, to which it sounds like an excuse they use so they dnt help me out. Basically I'm paying for the line I cannot use and no one seems to be doing anything with the case

It only saddens me that the only time I get something positive or rather a response is through this platform. Anyways I have received a feed back, a lazily contacted me and I sent her the documents she needed and then I got confirmation from her that she has forwarded the case to the investigators (that was on the 22nd) and o was told to give the 3 to 5 working days and that someone will get hold of me , so I waited . The following day I received a call from Vodacom again telling me that they will hand in my account over to the lawyers (which puzzled me because I'd assume they all use the same system and can see what's going on but after I explained the story the guy say he'll put something on there so it doesn't get handed over. To this day no one contacted me, so I took it upon myself and call them since I was given a standby number to use should no one gets hold of me , which after a few attempts I got through to them and I was told the case was settled on the 22 and 23rd and my Vodacom account was credited. I ask to be sent the investigation report and the lady said she will get the person who worked on my case to send it to me, but they never did. To my surprise after being told it's all sorted I went to pay my normal account on the 1st Feb and I get told I'm in arrears with just over 3grand and I was told to call accounts to find out what's happening. After calling accounts they told me that I was credited but my account has 5 numbers in it hence the bill is going up again, mind you this is the same disputed number that I was told the case was solved and it was found to be *****. The 2nd time I tried to get hold of the number I was given which was on Friday I spent all day calling and getting no answer. So my question now is how do you solve a case and yet the matter remains the same .. I would have expected those numbers to be removed from my account (which logically makes sense) but here I am still being billed for ********** lines. So basically nothing got solved and all I get told to do is to log in a service request where i would have expected the investigations done to have cleared all this mess but here I am.
