Forced to take a R9000-value phone with my R15000 cover & paid R2000 excess
I lost my phone (Samsung S1 FE, it's ensured value was R15 000 at the time). I was given very limited options as a replacement and when I asked for the same phone, the Vodacom brunch in Gansbaai told me it was discontinued, because I wasn't happy with those choices I went to the Herm**** Vodacom brunch and they told me I'd have to pay more than R3000 for another S21 FE. There again I was given options from the A series and then reluctantly settled for a Reno 7 5G (worst decision ever) and paid my R2000 excess. Fast forward 10months later this phone is out of space, primarily from its own apps that I can't delete and not even the SD card that I bought at Vodacom is helping. What hurts me even worse is reluctantly taking a phone to the value of R9 000, while my cover was for R15000 and still paying a R2000 excess. All this to be stuck 10months later with a phone that has no space and forces me to delete apps, sometimes locking me out of whatsapp (even deleting my WhatsApp messages). What the hell was the cover for.
I'm so upset because a Vodacom official was trying to offer me a product and I got so angry and emotional because Vodacom did me very bad
