Forced to downgrade

I have been paying insurance on my contracts for as long as I can remember. Have not missed a single payment. Last week Thursday I dropped my galaxy s7 edge and the front screen cracked. I have never been informed to update my insurance as I have only been insuranced for up to R7000. I have now after having to call found out that they won't repair my phone I have to come choose a cellphone to the value of R7000. How can it cost R7719.53 to replace a cracked screen????? I had another issue of waiting a month on repairs about this time last year. So instead of my insurance giving me an option to pay the difference and fix my phone I'm now forced to pick a downgrade. I cannot believe this that a cellphone screen can cost so much. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the back glass yet it's also on the quote? Please can you help me I'm just about to move the contract to another mobile supplier. Why can I not just pay the difference or why can the quote not be relooked at their is nothing wrong with my back screen yet it's on this huge quote.Job no ********** 1
