Forced indenture
I tried to cancel contract cover of R6.08 + VAT today. After phoning 0 8 2 1 9 5 2 and waiting for 14.5 minutes I gave up. This is how Vodacom convince you to keep the cover. Visiting a Vodacom shop doesn't help either, they just refer you to the number above.

Their number came up as "suspected spam".
They asked me for my ID number and I asked them to tell me what my ID number it start or ends with (proof at least that they have it on system).
They indicated that is not how it works. I indicated that there is no proof that they are from Vodacom.
That is where the call ended.
