fixing phone charger

on Friday the 20th November 2015, I took my phone to Vodacom repairs in Pretoria , Du Toit Street, I was assisted by the lady called Rachel, the system was offline but she did the bookings manually, and promised they will book it in as soon as they are on line, I asked how long will that take she said normally we are offline not more than an hour. I waited for the sms she said will be sent too me after she had booked me for the whole weekend until I phoned on Monday to inquire, I was told they are waiting for parts then they will fix my phone. only on Tuesday I got the sms ur phone is booked for repairs 2 minutes later I get another sms ur phone is ready for collection. I got there they have updated my phone all data is lost. I asked how was fixing the charging have anything to do with them deleting all my information. the guy said because if they do not delete my things they will not be paid by the insurance, and I asked why was I not told about this when I took in my phone, the guy called the lady who assisted me to book my phone Rachel and all she said was that she forgot to tell me, showing no pity, very arrogant my screen protector for my phone was also not there.
