Fine Print
I took a Samsung Galaxy Tablet to Vodacom for repairs early in March 2015 and upon collection I was told that the charging port was faulty and they replaced it with a new one. I did not have to pay in as the equipment is still under warranty. Two months down the line I experienced the same problem and I took it back to Vodacom Repair Center in Centurion, where I was immediately told that I will now have to pay for the repairs despite the equipment still within the warranty period. This they said was because the screen was cracked and it voided the warranty. When the I enquired on what was wrong with the equipment I was told the charging port was faulty and it was changed for which I paid under duress. <br> The fault had nothing to do with the cracked screen but I was made to pay for the repairs. Vodacom is reaping off their loyal customers and hiding on fine print that does not make sense.
