Fine print

I recently took out 2 Vodacom cellphone contracts from different franchised stores in Durban. Then the problem starts. I am receiving calls claiming my number belongs someone else. It would appear that the cell number was recycled. Then, the weirdest thing...receiving calls from Unknown callers but with my cell phone number displayed on the screen. Am I supposedly the UNKNOWN caller calling myself??? Eventually, I got back to the store to enquire. I was told to call Customer Care, which I promptly did. Next shocker!!! I need to pay R10 extra per month for "Caller ID" on each contract. NO CHOICE but to say YES MADAM...the gun is already placed to my head. Stupid question, but should CALLER ID not be part of the subscription??? And should this fine print not be highlighted, underlined, made in bold and probably colored in RED, when taking out a contract rather than you being told that you will receive X minutes and Y data and Z sms'es. Rather inform the customer of the EXTRAS one would have to pay. Terribly disappointed with Vodacom. Can't wait till the termination of the contract...and never again. Yes, I know I should have read the fine print with a magnifying glass ...everything is my fault the moment I attached my signature to the contract. Need to slap myself or really invest in magnifying lenses.
