Finally had enough - why Vodacom is losing my 4 contracts and the 20k+ I pay them a year

1. One of the numbers on my account has been receiving anonymous threatening and obscene calls for the past 6-8 weeks, all I've asked Vodacom for is to please change the number (I'm willing to pay any fees required for the change) but after being sent from one department to another and eventually to a store I'm told that they can't change the number on that 'type' of contract (any other type, just not 'that' type). So we just have to put up with threats of violence and abusive calls for the rest of the contract as far as Vodacom is concerned.

2. Their new so-called '3D' system is utterly USELESS and if they've unilaterally decided to migrate your account to it forget about getting ANYTHING done on the so-called 'system'. For over a year I've been promised that the issues with the system will be sorted out 'soon' but there is never an end in sight, even their own staff don't believe the system will ever work so how can they expect their customers to put up with it? If it can't manage the most basic functions what of earth are you using it for?

3. Six years ago I submitted a complaint about the signal quality in my area (a rather well-off area in Cape Town where all the other providers have excellent coverage) with calls being dropped, signal fluctuating wildly and hardly ever anything over EDGE available when even Cell-C has rock-solid LTE coverage in the same place. The only thing Vodacom has bothered to do about it is send out a once-a-year SMS ****erally) saying they are 'working on the problem' ... for 6 years straight.

So there you go Vodacom ... I for one have had enough, I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Reviewer Update

Just an update. A week after Vodacom's PR machine's ruse to comment so that it looks like they've responded they have in fact not contacted me and done absolutely NOTHING whatsoever. It is just their PR machine, their customer service is completely missing in action as allways.
