Fibre line down after migration/upgrade since 16th July 2020

On the 24th June, I moved into a new house. I app**** for fibre at the same time as the move so that I could be set up with uncapped fibre from home, as I am a teacher and our school has decided to conduct online lessons from home, thus the fibre was extremely important. After a few days with the lowest package (10 mbps up and 2 mbps down), I realised very quickly that I could not upload my lessons that are in video format with a 2mbps line.

On the 16th July 2020 I app**** for an upgrade/migration (SO***) to a 10mbps/10mbps line, the order was handled very quickly and was approved on the 16th July 2020. Interesting that it takes 24hrs to finalise a sales order however when I have technical difficulties can't seem to get anyone to contact me.

From the evening of the 16th July 2020, straight after I received an email to say that the migration was complete, I have had NO internet access at all. On the 17th July I logged a call (SR ***), and explained that there was a problem with the fibre line.

Maybe I am naive in thinking that someone in your technical department can get back to me in the same day - I have spent the entire weekend (18th -19th July 2020) phoning and and asking for the matter to be expedited, I have even spoken to someone yesterday (me practically in tears) who said that a technician will phone me yesterday, I am still waiting for this call.

Vodacom - in the meantime I am having to buy mobile data to conduct my teaching at home, I have a minimum of three online lessons a day and i have to upload teaching material....do I have to send you a bill for all the mobile data I have had to purchase? Do you not understand the stress and anxiety you have caused me, I do NOT have extra money to spend on mobile data and pay for the fibre line at the end of the month!!!!!!!!!

Last night (20th July 2020) I sent a complaint to your complaints email, I am still awaiting a response! I AM DESPERATE AND I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME!!!
