Fibre installation terms not mentioned

Took a fibre deal through vodacom which stated free installation..paid upfront and waited for the guys to come install..and was told installation is free upto 30metres only..my house was 40meters away from the access point..installer went away as payment for extra cable must be made before they install..this clause of 30metres was never mentioned to me when I took the deal..now if I don't pay for the extra 10metres they don't install and I end up having paid for a service I never used and will never use..also you pay upfront and wait 7to14days for installation so you basically paid half the month for nothing already.. another way to make money of people..yes we as customers should be told about terms and conditions like this or is it a money making strategy between service providers and installers to make money of people when they their installing..to all the people thinking about fibre please ask about the installation terms..
