Fibre call centre totally useless
I app**** for a Vodacom fibre line on 22 July. On 29 July the line was installed at my premises and worked perfectly for 2 hours. Then the line went dead. I logged a call at Vodacom Fibre call centre at 19:04 on 29 July, SR ***. The technician said the line had to be activated and activation would take 24 hours and that she would phone back to confirm it was working the next evening. On 30 July I logged 2 more service requests, SR *** and SR *** bacause no one gave me any feedback. I phoned Vodacom again on 30 July, and another agent told me activation would now take 48 hours. I waited patiently until 07:30 on 1 August, now 60 hours later. I phone the Call centre. Phuleng takes my call, places me on hold for 15 minutes and then drops the call. I phone again, speak to Zola, who is happy to inform me that my account is suspended due to non-payment. She then drops the call in my ear! I now have 4 open service requests at Vodacom! Every call centre agent refuses to address the real problem.
Best regards,
Best regards,
2 August: I still have no fiber connectivity. Is anyone able to assist? Will I get credit for the days that I do not have internet?
