So we had no telephone lines, internet services, etc. in our area. Along came Evotel (fibre installation) last year April making loads of promises. They installed our fibre, looked after us very well for a year and then came up with some kind of ISP bull story that it is too difficult to service us. Sold to Vodacom, yes Vodacom because Vodacom will be a better ISP. Not true. Firstly it is impossible to get hold of them and get proper info. Then there is the price, they charge R400 more for our current package and other fibre competitors. (After all, this is a cell provider) After 4 days of waiting for them they send a message on a Friday afternoon at 16:08 telling us they had unforeseen technical challenges during migration and the issues have now been resolved. Really? This time on a Friday afternoon? Why does a cell service provider have to get involved with fibre? I have my thoughts...
