Fiber migration - installation incomplete and lies to customer

My complex had previously fiber to the home provided by Evotel. They have been bought out by Vodacom and we were offered the option to migrate to Vodacom which we decided to take.

We eventually had the installation team last week to come and install our new line and router but they were unable to complete the set. After blaming Evotel, they said that they will meet one of the Evotel technicians in ther server room and come back to my flat. And they just left and never came back to me or even called me.

So I was left with an installation incomplete, no internet at home and obsolutely no feedback. Whenever I now try to call their call center, the agents transfer my call to the Vodacom migration and the call just gets cut. Just this morning, it has happened 5 times.

So in a nutshell : - Installation team **** to me - I have no service at home - I can't get through their call center to get feedback.

Avoid Vodacom for your fiber. There are much better alternatives out there. I have also contacted them on Twitter and they promised that someone will call me back ... but no one did.

Dear Vodacom, This is not really an acceptable reply because that's also what they keep telling me in your call center, that someone will eventually call me. What is "due curse". This is not an ETA. Your installation people came and they ruined a working line. Now I'm left with no internet and no feedback. So what I need to know is when will this be resolved. Regards, Helder

So although the fiber has been installed, last week thrusday, they never managed to make the landline work. I have been following up but no one has been able to resolve it so far. Today I receive a call at 9 am to schedule an intervention today at 11:30. What kind of planning is this ? Really ? Plus the lady said that this was to come and fix the fiber, which at least for the internet, is now working perfectly fine. The technician that came to my place last week said that for the landline, they only needed to update it on the backoffice. Regards, Helder
