Feel insulted by Vodacom!!!!

I app**** for a new cellphone contract at the Vodacom store in Sandton City on the 14/06/2019 and was assisted by a very friendly Customer Services lady by the name of Dimakatso, she called me the following day to let me know that my application was somehow approved however due to my low credit score Vodacom wants me to make an upfront payment of R10,000 to have the phone I want (Samsung Galaxy S10) and then still make payments of R300 and some change as a monthly subscription towards my contract.

Honestly I'm shocked and thought this was a joke, firstly I have a credit score of 729 on my TransUnion ITC profile (Which the last time I checked was a GOOD!!!!!!), secondly this is a *******...for R10,000 I might as well by a new phone and forget about taking out a contract and on top of that you still want me to pay a monthly subscription, so basically I would have ridiculously paid more money than the current market price of a Samsung Galaxy S10 by the end of my contract.

I can flipping afford R800 per month for my contract and I have a stable job, I thought I would switch over to Vodacom as I'm currently fed up with my current service provider and in need of a new phone but it looks as if they're one and the same....keep your contract if you don't want to grant it to me!!!!!!
