FED UP WITH VODACOM!!!

So, a few weeks ago, I had a HUGE query with Vodacom, with a debit order going off my account before I had been paid, which has since been sorted. When it was sorted, I then phoned Vodacom Customer Line (this was on 24/05 asking if we could put the debit order on 7th of every month, which the lady said was fine. I confirmed with her that the May payment would still be done by me via EFT, but then the June invoice would go off on 7 JULY, she confirmed this was the case). So now on 8 June, my 1 June invoice HAS BEEN PAID ON 7TH OF JUNE INSTEAD OF 7TH OF JULY!!!!!

As per breakdown below, any invoice on the 1st of the month, gets paid at the end of the month.

Breakdown of payments from January 2018 onwards: Invoiced 1 Jan 2018 of R665.99 ; payment via debit order 31/01 Invoiced 1 Feb 2018 of R825.49 ; payment via debit order 28/02 Invoiced 1 Mar 2018 of R825.49 ; payment via debit order 29/03 Debit order of 29/03 returned; BUT payment of R825.49 made at Vodacom office on 02/04 Invoiced 1 Apr 2018 of R831.74 ; payment via EFT on 30/04 Invoiced 1 May 2018 of R1085.05 ; payment via EFT on 31/05 Changed back to debit order on 24/05 to go off on the 7TH OF EVERY MONTH! Invoiced 1 Jun 2018 of R870.74 ; BUT instead of payment going off on 7/07, payment goes off 7/06, a WHOLE MONTH before the time!!!

Yet again, Vodacom has just taken off money on my account WHEN THEY want to, which is absolutely ridiculous and BEYOND FRUSTRATING!!!! FNB has now also charged me a R100 unpaid fee, which I want Vodacom to credit my account with, as well as NOT charge me for any unpaid fees on my Vodacom account.

I did speak to a lady by the name of Mpumi this morning, but she said that the amount going off my account today is correct, which I don't see how it can be correct, as the payment of 1 June should only have gone off on 7 July (for end of June payment) as I don't understand how I must pay 31 May and AGAIN 7 days later on 7 June!!!! I did speak to a lady by the name of Tloni afterwards to change my account back from debit order to cash/EFT payment, but she said there's a problem on the system, and she is unable to change it.

I am due for an upgrade in July, but honestly, these problems I am having with Vodacom, has made me so frustrated that I do not want to continue with Vodacom!!!

If possible, I would like a manager by the name of Moenier de Vries to assist me with this query, as he dealt with my previous complaint, and was able to sort it out for me.

Hopefully this problem gets sorted ASAP!

Hi Dominic I have checked my mail numerous times and have still not received anything via email! I would just like to understand how Vodacom can take money off my account whenever they want to!? It was only authorized for 7 JULY!!! And now YET AGAIN charging me for the unpaid debit order that wasn't supposed to go off my account! As per below link to previous hellopeter post, please take note that this is not the first time this has happened in the last 3 months! https://www.hellopeter.com/vodacom/reviews/unhappy-customer- **********
