Faulty Sim Card Schemes

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in August 2015. The phone and sim were both LTE enabled and I picked up 4G network ever since getting the phone. On the 2nd of May 2016, my sim card stopped picking up and LTE and as a result my phone had terrible network to the point where I can't make or receive calls. I took it in to vodaworld and they got it to work for a maximum of 40 seconds, before losing the signal again. I took the phone in to Vodacom at Mall of Africa where I was told that I would need to do a sim swap as other users who experienced the same problem, only had it rectified once a sim swap was done. I am then told, by an extremly rude and full of attitude sales consultant, that I must pay for this sim swap even though the lack of network coverage on the current sim card is not my fault at all! What service is this from Vodacom? Are they giving out faulty sim cards as a scheme to earn more revenue when customers are forced to do sim swaps? ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! You are not even worthy of a one star rating
