Faulty router and terrible service

Dear Vodacom, I certainly don't understand that you can receive the type of service I received from Vodacom at Table Bay Mall. I went there for assistance with my brand new router that was faulty from the day I received it. I continuously had to open the thing and restart it to get a signal.

When I arrived at this shop, I was told to come back in two hours' time by the person who is apparently the only one who is allowed to deal with repairs. I returned within two hours' time to be told this gentleman is on lunch. I had to wait nearly another hour. He was in and out of the shop while I was sitting there waiting. I tried to get assistance from the other staff, a lady tried to assist by testing the router. But while assisting she and her other lady colleague were treating another dissatisfied customer rudely and unprofessionally and badmouthed the customer in front of me after she left. Needless to say that this lady could not assist me and I still had to wait.

When the repairs gentleman finally returned he was so rude and had a very arrogant attitude. He did not offer me any assistance but went to his workstation and sat there, I had to approach HIM for assistance even though he knew exactly why I was there and that I was waiting for him. Finally, after testing the router he agreed the router had to be send in for repairs. He was so rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. He also took the router without providing me with any proof of receipt. Apparently, the repair book was gone. Then they took another age to prepare something typed out for me as proof that I handed in the router, extremely unhappy that I requested something that I am entitled to. They took so much of my time, it cost me a fortune in parking fees, I might just as well have paid the ticket penalty - unbelievable. I only went to the mall for this purpose. Nearly a month later I am still waiting for the router to be returned from repairs. I phoned the number on the repair sms only to be told that this router has been returned to the shop a long time ago and I should contact the shop. I tried to phone the shop many times but they do not answer the phone, they kill the call every time after about 4-5 rings. How does this make sense, what type of service is this? I received what is supposed to be a brand new router, took it to the closest Vodacom Shop, and instead of enjoying the supposedly new product I am being mistreated and am still waiting to hear from the shop that my router has been returned from repairs a month later. I can only say - WOW. I am speechless. Is this the type of service we should accept and that from such a strong company as Vodacom??
