Faulty product the last straw

On Monday 26 August I purchased an Energizer HardCase tempered glass cover for my Galaxy S7 Edge at your store. It cost R499 and I was told it was the best they have. By Wednesday, a small crack had appeared on the cover, just above the volume buttons. I have no idea how it happened, but my best guess is that it weakened when I firmly pressed the cover back on after it had come loose.

So yesterday I went to shop to have it replaced. However, my request was refused because Energizer won't accept a cracked product for replacement, according to one of the sales people.

Now, this product boasts to be six times more resistant and can take all kinds of damage, but apparently not the pressure of a thumb to get it to stick better?

I get that you can't trust that this is what happened and that all I have is my word that I haven't dropped, sat on, driven over, bungee jumped or anything else with the phone while this cover was one. So I am terribly disappointed that after just three days, the cover gets cracked and you, Vodacom, won't replace it for me.

So, although I would really like a refund, I'm certain that won't be happening. So what I want and I want it as soon as possible, is for you to send me a quote in order for me to buy out my contract with you. I left you once before due to poor service and I came crawling back because the other service providers are pretty much just as lousy. But now there's options beyond you, MTN and CellC and I hope more people realise this. I've been a Vodacom customer since 1998 with pay as you go or on contract in one way or another.

Not anymore.
