Faulty phone charger (not cellphone)

Received a Aamsung Galaxy Note 9 on upgrade. Nothing wrong with the phone. The charger doesn't work. Even tried it on other devices. Spoke Vodacom about it. They want the complete package (phone included) back, so they can exchange for new one.

I explained I already fitted a tempered glass screen protector to the phone.

I then spoke to Samsung service centre who told me that the charger (on its own) has a 6 month warranty. I can exchange it at any Samsung service centre. The only problem is that he nearest one to me is over a 100km away.

Think that Vodacom should start with etter customer service and try at least to go the extra mile.

PS: Everybody knows how long it takes to set up a new phone just to be told they want the phone back to exhange the faulty charger. Ridiculous!
