Faulty Phone / Bad service

on 2nd September I upgraded my Vodacom contract and got the S7 Samsung.

The phone worked fine and I was very impressed with the device.

On 27 September my phone screen when black, notifications sounds still came through, the phone still rang and also the notification light was also still working but no display.

I took the phone through to my local Vodacom shop in Paarl, and was advised that it needed to be booked in for repairs. The same day it was booked in and sent to the repair centre in Tygervalley. There it awaited spares for 3 weeks and then only sent to the higher repair centre in JHB. A week later it was sent back to Paarl and i collected my phone on 31 October.. One hour later, after inserting my sim the phone gave the exact same problem. Same story, phone was booked in on the same day, and was then sent to the higher repair centre in JHB. at ths stage i requested a new device from vodacom and was advised that it would not be possible, for as long as the device can be fixed, they will not replace it. On Monday 14 November, 2 weeks later, i received an sms stating i can collect from my local vodacom Shop. And again, on the same day, the phone's screen broke AGAIN. with the same "symptoms". After phone the samsung repair centre, head office vodacom in Durbanville and my local vodacom shop i am not the wiser. The manger in die shop says that he does not have authority to give me a new device, samsung requests that i come in to have the phone fixed AGAIN! Cleary there is something else wrong with the phone! As you can see the phone is no only 3 month old, of which i have only had it for 2 weeks!

I went back to the vodacom shop, had to re do all the paper work for the 3rd time!

Not even to mention that they lost my phones back up after the first repair?

I dont see how this is giving a service!

As far as i am concerned, the device itself is faulty, and not just the screen that they keep on replacing, The phone is still well in its warranty / guaranty - so why am i having such trouble!?

How many more times does the device need to brake, how much longer do they want to keep at this and how much longer do they want to waste my time!?

Job nrs, ********** 4

********** 4

********** 2
