My iPhone 6 plus which I am still paying for on contract with vodacom since September 2014 is one of those in the faulty batch with the faulty iSight camera. I have confirmed this with Apple on their website. Apple made the announcement in Aug 2015 that they will fix/replace these phones within 3 years from purchase. Mine only started giving problems now recently and I enquired with vodacom with regards to the Replacement Programme by Apple. Only to be told that I will have to pay for the repairs because the phone is outside of the 1 year warranty.

This is utterly disgusting by vodacom, why can they not abide by the Apple Replacement Programme? Why must I pay for repairs when the manufacturer has admitted their fault and have placed an international replacement programme to remedy the situation? I am not willing to continue paying for this contract if vodacom is not willing to replace or fix my phone. My phone serial number is FK1NJ1R6G5QW and it qualifies for the FREE repairs/replacement. Go check yourself on the Apple website.

If vodacom doesn't want to give me a replacement phone, they must just terminate my contract with them.
