Faulty Device

I received a call on 2015-12-08, from an Elite Mobile consultant on behalf of Vodacom. His name was Xolani Mkhize, user ID A11296. He sold a Vodacom Smart Tab 3G to me. I received the tablet on 2015-12-11, it is a 24 month contract. I have used the tablet for two weeks, but the tablet has since stopped worked since Sunday 2015-12-27. I tried charging it but it does not switch on. I called Vodacom on *** but the line is not clear, the I contacted 082111 and first spoke to Sibusiso @ 12:33 who was very unhelpful and playful. He advised me to take my phone to a Vodacom shop to have it repaired and I will still get charged for it. Then I called the cancellation dpt on *** and the lady told me the same thing. And she told me that if I want to cancel my phone I will have to pay 75% of the remaining period

I have been a loyal customer to Vodacom for more than 6 years. I have experienced lack of good customer service from Vodacom, more especially from Sibusiso.

This is a new tablet that Vodacom sold to me. WHY DID THE SELL ME A FAULTY DEVICE AND WHY MUST I PAY TO HAVE IT REPAIRED? I WANT THIS CONTRACT CANCELLED AND I WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY CANCELLATIONS
