FAULTY CHARGING PIN
Early November i took my blackberry 9720 back to Ackermans Eldorado Park as the charging pin was missing. they has then sent it to Vodacom for repairs. on the 31/11/2015 we received a call from Ackermans informing us that the phone was ready for collection. on mu husbands arrival he had discovered that no repairs had been done and instead a software update was done and new battery supp****. the phone was sent back to Vodacom and a week later i called Ackermans only to find that the handset was still not sent to Vodacom for repairs. 3 DAYS later i was contacted by Vodacom jabulani informing me that the phone was sent to HQ FOR REPAIRS. i received a call from ackermans on 31/01/2015 informing me that my phone is ready. when sollecting the phone i was now told that it could not be repaired due to water damage and that this does not fall under the warrantee. WHAT DOES WATER DAMAGE HAVE TO DO WITH A MISSING CHARGING PIN. MY PHONE HAS NEVER SEEN WATER BUT I GUESS ITS MY WORD AGAINST THEIRS. WHY DID I HAVE TO WAIT ALMOST 2 MONTHS JUST TO BE TOLD IT COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. BOTH PARTIES HAVE TO TAKE SOME KIND OF RESPONSIBILITY. MANY CONSUMERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE FAULTY CHARGING PIN ON THE 972
