False Samsung S26 Promotion & Refusal to Honour Verbal Contract
False Samsung S26 Promotion & Refusal to Honour Verbal Contract I am a loyal Vodacom customer, but my recent online upgrade has been a disaster. During the special promotion period, a sales agent (Date: [31.03.2026]) indicated that my Samsung S26 storage would be doubled from 256GB to 512GB at no extra cost. I completed the upgrade online, but the courier delivered the 256GB model. When I called the after-sales line, I was told to cancel and reapply—which is impossible because the promotion has now ended. Vodacom is effectively penalising me for their own dispatch error and refusing to honour the terms I agreed to. I am not looking for a "reapplication" at a higher price. I am requesting that Vodacom: Locate and listen to the call recording from my upgrade (Reference: [***]). Perform a manual override to supply the 512GB handset at the original promotional rate. Arrange a swap-out immediately without resetting my contract to a non-promotional tier. This is totally unacceptable and extremely poor service. #Vodacom #SamsungS26 #FalseAdvertising #PoorService

- Breach of Contract: A sales agent (Ref: 5-**********1145) confirmed the 512GB double-storage promotion. By delivering the 256GB model, Vodacom has failed to fulfill the contract.
- The "Investigation" Excuse: There is nothing left to investigate. You have the call recordings and the reference number.
- Unusable Hardware: I have been in possession of a phone for over two weeks that I cannot use or activate, as doing so would complicate the swap-out process you are delaying.
- Missed Deadlines: Vodacom is now in breach of the service timeline they set for themselves via SMS.
