False Promises/ Incorrect Information

Early in May I called in to the Vodacom call centre to downgrade my sms package. I was paying Vodacom to receive 1000 sms's. But I also received an additional 200 free sms's. I asked the consultant to downgrade my package to 300 sms's but to not remove the free 200 sms's. So in total I wanted to have 500 sms's. The consultant asked me to call back on the 1st of June to downgrade. I did call back on the 1st of June. But I discovered that all my sms's were cancelled. I called twice on the 1st and on both occassions I was told that my 300 sms bundle would be activated. It has not been done to date.

When I enquired about the 200 sms's I got for free I was told that it expired in May. Another consultant in the upgrade department told me I cannot have free sms's. A consultant in the retentions department told me that I never had any free sms's. When I told him he was wrong and needed to investigate, he promised to call me back at 11:30 on the 1st of June. I'm still waiting for his call.

In the meantime I still don't have anything sorted on my side. The cell no in question for these sms's is ***. I am very frustrated at the wrong information and false promises made by Vodacom. I would like all calls made by me traced and all staff delt with accordingly who made promises and failed to assist me correctly.

But I think that Vodacom will probably ignore this complaint as they are ignoring my telephonic requests.

Frustrated!
