False/misleading advertising

Bought a new HP Notebook cash at Incredible Connection on 28 May 2015 - the deal-sweetener was that you would get 6GB free data from Vodacom @ 500MB for 12 months. Took possesion, Rica'd the Sim in-store, and was told the sIm would be activated within 24 hours.<br> Phoned Vodacom customer care the following evening - they had no record of the Sim.<br> Was then told by Inc Conn sales manager that Vodacom was in a \testing phase"with the applicable Data Sim cards - and would inform the store when they were done. The store in turn will then have to contact all the clients that were taken in by this deal.<br> My point is - Vodacom's Sim's should have been ready the same day that the product went on sale.<br> This experience with Vodacom will really get me to think twice before I jump for an advertised \""Deal/Promotion\"" that can be delayed or cancelled at Vodacom's whim."""
