False information given for contract
I went to Vodacom Brooklyn on 18 October to upgrade mine and my brother's contracts and found it to be a pleasant experience, the person helping was patient etc and I was initially happy with the phone suggested to us. It is an LG G4 Stylus and at the store I was told it had 2GB of ram and 16GB storage and on that information proceeded with the contract. Once I got home I put the battery in (not the sim card - so the phone has not even been activated yet) and I found out that it only has 1GB ram and 8GB of storage memory. Of which only 2.5GB is available for other applications (not enough). If I had known this I would not have taken the phone... I went back to Vodacom and they would not help me. Even though based on their advice we selected these phones they refused to take it, they would not even recognize that they made a mistake on their side and only said that they could not help us. My phone still has the screen protector on, it is brand new and only the box of my brother's phone has been opened (his phone is untouched) and now my brother and I are stuck with phones that we do not want and am paying for for the next two years... We may soon approach CellC to buy our contracts.
